Excellent shoes and excellent service
Reviewed By Stephen, 10 Apr 2015

These shoes are just what I need for leisurely walking on Alpine mountain paths in the summer. And the service from the young man in the Bury St Edmunds store was first class; he took the time to really understand what I wanted, actually measured my feet, and then offered sensible advice, but without ever being too pushy. The fact the shoes were on special offer was a bonus!

Another Great Merrell shoe
Reviewed By Ben, 28 Oct 2014

With my last pair finally giving out after 10 years of hard graft these had a lot to live up to and they have not disappointed. They are comfortable enough to be in all day, great for an adventurous day with my boys and clean up a treat. Perfect.

Superbly Comfortable
Reviewed By Andy, 27 Jun 2014

I have just bought these to replace my old trusted Merrells that have endured 3 years of regular abuse whilst out in all weathers. These are really well padded around the heel and wider than the equivalent Salomens I looked at. From the first moment of putting them they where superbly comfortable and felt like I had been wearing them for years.
I am looking forwards to some more comfy 12 hour days wearing these safe in the knowledge that my feet will remain warm and dry no matter what the weather throws at me.

Good waterproof walking shoes for the modern world
Reviewed By Paul, 18 Feb 2014

I bought these shoes as my third pair of Merrell approach shoes; each pair lasting 3-5 years of my usage. I tend to spend time walking in large conference venues, airports (where occasionally it feels like I am walking to my destination rather than flying) and for summer dog walking and on paths or in woods. I find the shoes wonderfully comfortable and supportive, find I am able to stand for long periods with no discomfort and they are smart enough to wear for many indoor events. (Unless I really have to wear black business shoes of course.)
They are also both breathable and waterproof; in important pair of features to my mind.

Amazingly Comfortable Everyday All Purpose Shoe
Reviewed By Simon, 30 Nov 2013

Although a little on the pricey side, your money will be well spent on a pair of Merrell Chameleon Shoes. I got my first pair of Chameleons about ten years ago and wore them every single day for about 3 years, I was working for a TV company at the time, so was out and about, on all kinds of surfaces, walking, hiking, running and in all weathers. I didn't really take care of them, but they certainly took care of me. The Air soles are extremely comfortable, they feel tough yet light, and just seem to protect your feet. I am on my second pair now, and all my footware is from Merrell, You really can't beat the comfort combined with the utility that they offer.

I am pleased to say that I wear Merrell every day!

Reviewed By GARETH, 23 Oct 2013

These general purpose approach shoes are ideal for all low level walking. As they are relatively lightweight I would suggest they could also be used as a walking trainer for those who just require sturdy footwear for city walking. Although at the high end of the price range for this type of shoe the quality is certainly worth giving these careful consideration when choosing your new approach shoes.
