Fully featured and built for unstoppable performance, the Womens Cloud Peak Jacket is the perfect shell for big undertakings and big mountains.
Reinforced in all the areas likely to take a beating, the Cloud Peak uses the latest incarnation of Gore Tex Pro fabric: just as waterproof as ever but tougher and significantly more breathable. For alpine, ski-mountaineering and expedition use, this level of performance is essential, and to ensure the jacket makes the best use of it, Mountain Equipment's Storm Construction techniques are used throughout the jacket. This philosophy includes the use of innovative seams, zips and pocket designs to make the garment as functional and waterproof as possible.
For maximum versatility and useability, the Cloud Peak is cut to the Womens Mountain Fit, a design which allows enough space for all-weather layering without being baggy, and allows outstanding freedom of movement without the need for folds of excess fabric. This fit has been meticulously developed right down to the smallest detail: the cuffs, for example, are shaped to cover more of the backs of your hands without getting in the way of the palms!
The Cloud Peak's top-flight fabrics, construction and design are complemented by a top-flight set of features. A zip-out internal snow skirt keeps powder at bay, and underarm pit zips deliver venting when you start to work up a sweat. Four massive pockets are positioned for ease of use and are reinforced internally to guard against puncture. The piece de resistance though, is the Mountain HC Hood: sculpted for the best in visibility with no loss of protection, with or without a helmet underneath it, it's a work of art in itself!
