An asthmatic coat if there ever was one
Reviewed By Graham, 05 Apr 2014

This coat doesn't breathe very well if at all. The condensation build up in anything other than a gentle stroll in dry weather will leave you soaked in the inside. My worst purchase yet.

Nice jacket but not very breathable
Reviewed By Mark, 15 Jan 2014

I've been wearing this jacket for a mix of activities in Snowdonia and while it's a nicely made and waterproof jacket it does feel very clammy after a while.

For light walking it's absolutely fine, but for harder work you can actually see the moisture building up on the inside. Wore it running last night just to see how it faired, I understand that this is more than the jacket is meant to cope with but by the end it was dripping.

That said, I do still like it and is a good size to have in a bag just in case of a downpour.

Not Breathable
Reviewed By Dhurba, 23 Nov 2013

I bought this jacket as it was on sale. But after wearing it for my trek to Annapurna circuit in Nepal, I realize that it was not breathable at all. I was sweating like hell and my t-shirt was totally wet. I would spend few more quid to get decent brand.

I agree with the previous review. This jacket is not breathable, 15 minutes of walking uphill had it running with condensation.

Nice coat and good fit works really well out and about. When worn for a strenuous hill walk the breathability is rubbish the jacket was running with water inside.

Totally worth the cost!

I was talked into this by a friend, haven't had too much opportunity to use it yet, but fits perfect, keeps the wind out and keeps me dry.

An excellent purchase
Reviewed By John, 08 Aug 2013

I was apprehensive about spending this amount on an item I had not seen or tried on but was swayed by the no hassle return promise. I need not have been concerned the jacket arrived promptly and I am delighted beyond expectation. The jacket looks and feels perfect it also performed well in last weeks deluge. Just what I had hoped for and excellent value for money.
