Product Information

The biggest bag in Osprey's multi-use Kestrel series of rucksacks, the Kestrel 68 is a large capacity pack, simply designed but with a few clever features to make life a little easier. The ingenious Stow-On-The-Go system hangs onto your walking poles without removing the pack when you need to free up your hands, and a raincover is easily to hand on the front of the bag for hassle free use when the heavens open. A few well positioned pockets and pouches keep everything organised.

Not as comfortable, ergonomic for size 8 lady as a Lightwave rucsac (but bigger).

Pack cover is quite bulky (would prefer a more waterproof sac, cf Lightwave).

Side pockets are pointless as they are compressed in use. No where to put water bottle for easy access (if not using camelbac system).

Strap on my rucsac shoulder strap is slipping which is v annoying.

You cannot beat the Kestrel series from Osprey. A more traditional style pack with lots of great features. I especially like the adjustable back length which allows this pack to be fitted to almost every user. It is worth paying that little extra for a bag which fits well and is so well constructed that it may be the last bag you ever need to buy!
