Magnetic backing fell off the rucksack- no secure fixing
Does not fit old cover ( handmade) to prevent landing in dirt -have not found another cover for it because of the bend.

I recently bought the new Osprey Lite hydration pack and liked the bite valve much better than the one on my old Source hydration pack, so I bought this to fit onto my Source hydration pack which I still use.
The magnetic holder works very well, and often locates itself automatically, snapping back onto the chest strap as soon as I let go of the valve.
The valve can also be operated much easier with one hand, and the flow rate is better than on the Source valve.
Incidentally, the Osprey hydration pack itself is terrible; very flimsy and extremely difficult to dry out the inside!
Very expensive for what it is!
