Product Information

Stability, control and breathability are driving force behind Osprey's Stratos 26 Rucksack. The sleek, ergonomic design hugs the back without restriction, allowing you full freedom of movement when tackling even the most demanding trails and landscapes.

The AirSpeed back panel works with the harness and hipbelt to provide a high level of comfort and ventilation without compromising the weight of the pack.

With Osprey's Stow-on-the-Go feature, you can quickly and easily attach and release your trekking poles without having to take the pack off your back or stretch uncomfortably.

The Stratos also features an integrated raincover which you can pull out to fully cover your pack.

Fit is superb, I barely know I've got a sack on, even when it's reasonably loaded.
Could be marginally bigger, maybe around 30l but that's really being very picky.

This is the best designed rucksack I've come across. What makes it perfect, more than anything, are the little touches - the magnet that keeps the mouthpiece of the drinking system attached to the sternum strap is an excellent bit of design.

It fits me perfectly and I almost forget I'm wearing it, even when it's full.

The rain cover is also very good - I spent hours out in the poring rain on a windy day on the coast of Skye - the rucksack was the only thing that was dry.
I've got an older version which had only one bad point - the overly long straps which had loose ends dangling around. The new version doesn't have this problem.
