At home wandering footpaths or biking through the wilderness

This versatile small capacity pack is equally at home wandering footpaths, tackling fast day raids or biking through the wilderness. Loaded with practical features and Ospreys legendary comfort, the Talon 22 Rucksack is an essential multi-discipline pack designed to take on any challenge.

The AirScape back panel has foam ridges that fit to the contours of your body, keeping the load close and aiding your stability. Air chimneys run through the foam, letting air circulate around your back to keep you cool.

The BioStretch harness and hipbelt are shaped to provide comfortable contact with your body and they work with the back panel to reduce the movement of the pack when you are moving fast. The single ErgoPull waistbelt simplifies the attachment of the hipbelt.

With the Stow-on-the-Go feature, you can quickly and easily attach and release your trekking poles without having to take the pack off your back or stretch uncomfortably, and the LidLock feature lets you secure a helmet to the pack.

The Power Mesh front stretch pocket will swallow all manner of gear, be it a fleece or a flask.

3 Customer reviews for this product

Light but robust - ideal for mountain hiking
Reviewed By Alex, 21 Aug 2014

Bought this for two weeks hiking in the Alps. Plenty of room for fleece, waterproofs, maps and snacks. Holds walking poles securely when not in use. Net side pockets are nice and deep to hold a water bottle securely. Strong and well made, comfortable and light to carry. Only downsides are the lack of an integral raincover and the airscape back is not that effective at keeping you cool.

Worth the money
Reviewed By Colin, 10 May 2014

Never spent this type of money before on "just a rucksack" - however, this pack feels like it is part of your body and was right from the moment it went over my shoulders.
Plenty of adjustment too thereafter. Some clever design and tidy features. So, we'll worth the money.

Superb all round rucksack
Reviewed By Steven, 29 Apr 2014

Light, capacious, superb details which are useful and not just gimmicks. I can't fault this product and recommend it wholeheartedly.
