My new best friend
Reviewed By Alex, 05 Jun 2014

I've just had this delivered, (bought it in the 40 years / 40% sale), and I already know it's going to be my new favourite bit of kit. Lightweight and compact with lots of well thought out pockets and storage, I reckon this is going to far more usable for the summer than my normal 25L pack. The best bit, has to be the zipable access to the bladder pocket - whoever thought of extending the pocket zip down over the shoulder strap to make feeding the drinking tube to the front, should be given a payrise. A simple but brill idea.

Fits the bill

looking for backpack small enough for comfortable ride but enough volume and pockets to be practical.

Great bag but......
Reviewed By Charlie, 08 May 2013

This is a fabulous bag for mountain biking - well designed and made. Basically it is the same sac as the Viper but without the hydration pack. Just remember it is less of a bargain if you want the hydration pack - buy the viper instead and save a few quid!
Then again if you have a pack already then this is the one for you! Worth having the osprey pack or putting a magnetic bite valve on your own bladder though as this bag has a magnetic attachment which is very useful - stops the valve hitting you on descents!

Great little Osprey
Reviewed By Alice, 25 Mar 2013

They say nice things come in small packages, and that certainly apply s to the Venom.
How do they manage to enable you to fit so much into such a neat package? Great design of course.
It's what we have come to expect from Osprey.
Yet another superb design
