An extremely versatile pack, the Women's Kyte 36 has been developed from Osprey's popular Kestrel series packs and, while it shares the useful features of the Kestrel, its comfortable and supportive back system has been shaped specifically for the female form.

At 36 litres the Kyte is an ideal size for long days out in the hills or, if you're a fan of superlight camping kit, it makes a great overnight pack too. The useful layout normally found on large trekking packs has been used for the Kyte: large main compartment, pocketed lid and, so you can get into the bottom of the bag without having to unpack the top, a zip entry at the base. Osprey's ingenious Stow On The Go system takes care of your walking poles when you need to free up your hands for a few minutes, and pockets in the hip-belt keep hold of the things you have to have to hand.

Perfect for day trekking and several months travel
Reviewed By Karen, 02 Feb 2014

I bought this rucksack for a year’s trip to Rwanda and as I’m now half way through, it’s had a lot of use already. It’s comfortable to wear and when I use 2 compression sacks I can get a lot of kit inside for extended trips. I live on the edge of a rainforest so the raincover has proved useful to add extra protection from heavy downpours. I originally wanted the Talon 33 litre but being a unisex bag, the S/M size was too large for me as a smallish lady so this women’s fit is perfect. The hip pockets are surprisingly spacious for all those small essentials (head torch, phone and charger etc.). The bag was my hand luggage and has been great to use on African buses where the only space for your bag is at your feet or on your lap. I would thoroughly recommend the Kyte 36 for both day trekking and several months travel.
