A mid-sized pack with a back system sculpted for women, the Kyte 46 is a great jack-of-all-trades...or should that be jill-of-all-trades?

46 litres of space accommodates all your gear for a day of serious cragging or icy adventures in frozen gullies, as well as being perfect for professionals who need to carry extra gear for group use. Lighter overnights are taken care of too, with space for a small tent, mat, sleeping bag, cook kit and food. To that end, the Kyte is laid out like a big multi-day pack, with the large main compartment being accessed both from the top and bottom for ease of unpacking, and a removable divider towards the base can be used to create a separate sleeping bag compartment.

Various pockets and pouches help to keep your gear organised, and as well as the ice axe/pole attachments, there is Osprey's Stow On The Go system: a couple of elasticated loops which can be easily reached while wearing the pack, through which you can quickly thread your walking poles so your hands are freed up. Simple and ingenious.
