For anyone carrying large loads on extended trips, load carrying ability and comfort are clearly the paramount concern: Osprey's monster Xenith 105 load-lugger is designed with those requirements in mind.

A lightweight yet supportive frame transfers the load efficiently and comfortably to the BioForm CM hipbelt for minimum strain and maximum comfort, despite the huge carrying capacity! Also connecting the Xenith 105 to you is the NeoSpacer mesh harness system and Airscape backpanel; this ergonomically sculpted harness system is sized to account for different back lengths but each is freely adjustable to further tailor the fit to you. To avoid the discomfort of having a large load sliding on your back as you move through rugged environments, the backpanel has a silicone grip-print to augment the already excellent stability offered by the harness.

Organization and access are two more key elements to making life on the trail easier. As well as its enormous, multi-day capacity, the Xenith 105 Rucksack offers superb pocketing, multiple zip access points into the main compartment, front, side and hipbelt pockets, and a super-convenient way to carry a reservoir which is accessible from outside the bag.

Best rucksack
Reviewed By Kostas, 04 Nov 2013

I am trekking photographer often visiting remote parts for about a week, previously owning a 65L North Face Terra, although the TNF was superb it was quite small to pack with cold sleeping bags, tents, insulation layers, photographic equipment, cooking accessories.
I soon realised that I needed something bigger, to carry a bit more and also to be in the weight specs of the bag (the TNF heavy loaded would not perform the way it should).
Osprey was my choice after some research over the Internet.
The rucksack is unbelievable, it can carry nearly anything and its suspension system is a dream! You can pack nearly anything and feel like your rucksack is half loaded in terms of shoulder or back pressure! Pockets are everywhere to keep quick access items, side mesh pockets can hold tents like the Zephyros 2 easily, cold weather sleeping bags (Mountain Equipment Glacier 750) easily feet in the sleeping bag compartment (this sleeping bag used was always a pain to fit in other rucksacks).
This is definitely a rucksack worth its money, I would fully recommend it to backpackers looking for a rucksack that can hold items for a week long trek.
