Love this smock, when used with a single base layer in warmer temps or with a fleece/soft shell in colder months it never fails to perform.
Does what it says on the tin and with a lifetime guarantee its very good value for money.
Packs down reasonably small and will shed water to a degree.
The trade off of breathability vs waterproofness is an age old dilemma but when treated with Nikwax it will fend off showers and light rain no probs.
Chest pocket more than adequate for a OS map and great hood adjustments available.
If worn with a t-shirt I like the way the sleeves don't feel "clammy" when touching skin.

The Fuera smock is a lightweight, highly breathable windproof smock. Although it is not a waterproof, it sheds water so it will cope with persistent light rain. Because it is so effective at keeping the wind off you, it keeps you warm over an insulating layer in quite cold conditions, I've worn it over a a medium weight fleece and baselayer in very windy conditions where the temperature was close to freezing and I've been completely comfortable. Because it is so breathable, you don't get sweaty when climbing hard. The hood is excellent and the chest pocket is great for carrying a map. Highly recommended.
