We use secure socket layer (SSL) technology to ensure that your details are safe for all sales transactions with us. All information you provide is fully encrypted so that it cannot be read by third parties.

Browser differences: For Netscape click the 'security' icon on the tool bar and check the SSL2 and SSL3 boxes. For Internet Explorer go to view, menu, find 'Internet Options' click on 'Advanced' and check the SSL2 and SSL3 boxes. Your browser will confirm that you are shopping in a secure environment by showing a locked padlock icon or an image of a key in the bar at the base of your screen.

Important Notice about website security for IE 7.0 browser users:
If you are a user of IE 7.0 you will notice the address bar in your browser is showing a secure "https" address but no padlock. Please be assured that the site is still secure and encrypted with SSL technology. The invisible padlock is a known issue in IE 7.0 which Adobe and Microsoft are seeking to resolve. (The padlock is visible in all other browsers.)


Discounts


Discount Codes

If you have been given a promotional code to receive a discount on purchases from Cotswold Outdoor online, please proceed to checkout and enter the code in the promotional code box on the basket page.

Unfortunately, discount promotional codes will not work against sale items. The discounts we usually offer are not available on sale items as these products have already been substantially discounted. Discounts will also not apply to items in our Rock Bottom department or gift vouchers.

Gift vouchers

Cotswold Outdoor gift vouchers can be redeemed online as well as in store and via our mail order service. All gift vouchers have a printed barcode with a voucher number (13 digits long) and a web code.

To redeem a voucher online, follow these steps:
• At the checkout, click on 'add gift voucher'
• enter the full 13 digit voucher number
• enter the web code
• click ‘Apply code’

*Please do not enter gift voucher codes into the promotional field

If you choose to abandon your sale at the point of checkout and wish to purchase in store or over the phone, please ensure you remove the gift voucher codes as this could prevent you from utilising your voucher/s elsewhere. If you do experience any issues trying to redeem your vouchers, please contact us
