Designed to deliver a proper meal for one or two people

The powerful and stable Primus Eta Spider Stove is designed to deliver a proper meal for one or two people after a long day in the wilderness.

The high performance burner can be controlled to achieve a rapid boil time, a gentle warming or something in between. Its wide base provides stability on uneven ground while the integrated windshield ensures uninterrupted cooking.

A heat exchanger is built into the base of the cooking pot, which increases fuel efficiency and shortens cooking times by a third. You can also put the cooking pot in the insulation bag once heated to cook through your food to save fuel.

When your meal is cooked, you can pack the whole thing into the compact storage bag and throw it in your rucksack.

The stove is great and lives up to the advertised boiling time for a pan of water. I particularly like being able to put a pan of hot water in the case/thermal jacket to heat boil in the bag food whilst saving fuel.

The lighter in my stove failed soon after I bought it. Cotswold were great and provided a replacement immediately.

Old Colwyn
Quick to set up and get going. Very light, not sure weather I would use the heat pack to keep food warm on the go.
It was a bit tricky to light at first and nearly singed my eye brows off, but soon got the hang of the gas flow.
When packing the pan into the heat shield the rubber handles seem too tight and catch, hence it has resulted in a cut in one of the handles grips.
