Strong, lightweight material that packs easily. Adequate ventilation. Bright, stand-out colour. Good piece of emergency kit. Ideal to carry in the family car, too, in case of motorway breakdown.
The Cotswold description of 'waterproof seats' is a bit of an exaggeration. The 'seats' are short fold-under flaps from the sides and ends that leave a ground gap in the middle. It's worth having an insulated mat or ground sheet for cold or wet surfaces.

Tested on a wet very windy day with four men on the top of Scarfell in -3 wind chill. There was enough room for us with bags comfortably. It quickly was warm and we forgot the terrible conditions outside so it was a bit of a shock when we got out again. There were enough vents to keep it comfortable.
It was far too cold to know whether I could get it back in the stuff sack. I failed but only tried for 30 seconds before my fingers froze and I just threw it in my bag.

Pockets for walking poles to support the roof and window to see what's going on...both nice touches that raise this shelter above the norm.
Essential bit of kit for Mountain Rescue and now becoming widely used by general hill walkers. Really makes a difference on a wild or even a cold day when stopping.
