A lighter weight down mitt for when the expedition mitt is just too much.

50g of 750 Fill European goose down provides insulation and the Pertex Endurance outer shell keeps the down in perfect condition. Abrasion resistant panels on the palm and finger tips add durability and a wide opening makes them easy to get on and off. Simple wrist loop ensures that you don't lose the mitt when performing more intricate tasks in liner gloves.

Ideal for lightweight use in polar regions and at altitude or for emergency use when alpine climbing or winter mountain walking.

These are great for when you stop moving and need a little extra warmth. The insulation is pretty good and the hard wearing fabric on the palms is also very good.
They are packable and light enough to duck in the top of your pack.
Not really a bad point as such, but some potential buyers may but them for the wrong purpose. These wouldn't be a good all-round mountain mitt as dexterity is next to non and I'm not convinced the upper fabric would take a hug he amount of punishment. Best use for these is when you stop moving and need more insulation.
Would recommend wearing a liner also as to do any camp related tasks you'll need to take your hands out of the mitt.

Considering they're not totally weatherproof, I think they are a bit expensive for a second pair.
