Simple, tough and comfortable: the perfect list of features for bouldering wear. Well, it just so happens that's a pretty good description of the Rab Capstone Pants too...
When you're trying to finally link that perfect sequence of moves, or you're cranking out a few repetitions in the wall when the weather's against you, then tough fabric pants that allow you to move freely - and won't get ripped to pieces - are pretty much essential. That's why the Capstone Pants from Rab fit the bill: a comfortable, relaxed fit with articulated knees, and drawcords at the ankles for when you need to keep a close eye on your footwork. The durable polycotton fabric has an UPF of 50+, which is great for sunny days' bouldering...well, you can hope!

These are fantastic light weight trousers. I don't climb but I do a lot of walking/ scrambling and they have been great. I haven't tried them in the rain and I don't think they would be good in the rain but as a summer light weight pants I don't think there is much better out there.
