The MeCo 120 long sleeve is a light weight, long sleeved base layer made from a blend of Merino wool and Polyester with Cocona technology.

The MeCo baselayer fabric is an intimate blend of ethically sourced Australian Merino wool and recycled polyester with Cocona technology. Cocona technology is a clever addition to the polyester, using activated carbon derived from discarded coconut shells and other natural porous particles, which adds to the moisture-moving and quick-drying performance of the fibre, as well as extending the comfortable working range of the Merino into higher temperatures. Cocona is contained inside the recycled fibre, so it won't wear out or wash off.

The 120 Long Sleeve uses a version of the fabric which is very lightweight and makes the most of the comfortable and antibacterial nature of Merino wool, but is made faster drying due to the synthetic content. The Cocona technology even adds to the antimicrobial qualities of the fabric to fight odour build-up: ideal for prolonged wear!

The MeCo 120 long sleeve has a close fit, making it an ideal base later for all high activity uses.

Good light weight base layer
Reviewed By Joe, 12 Feb 2014

Bought this for cross-country skiing and winter walking. Despite temperatures of -10c, this top (plus a soft shell) kept me very comfortable. Good wicking qualities and the merino wool means that it go at least a few days before any smells! Surprisingly thin given the warmth. The material is quite soft and, so far, seems to have worn well. Only time will tell

Great base layer
Reviewed By Simon, 31 Jan 2014

I use this for rowing, and hiking through autumn and recent cold temperatures this has kept me warm and has dried quickly when wet. I plan to buy a second one. My small criticism is a lack of colour choice to match club kit.

Hard working winter baselayer
Reviewed By Dan , 25 Dec 2013

I bought this baselayer on account of its unique merino/cocona blend, mainly because i wanted something that i could wear for days at a time without developing to much of a smell, that would keep me warm and would wick sweat away quickly. It does all of those things very well, significantly better then any of its synthetic cousins. I've worn this for two weeks without washing it (only because it wasn't possible to do so!) and it remained comfortable to wear both in terms of feel and smell. When coupled with a windproof jacket it allows the skin to breathe when on the move, owing to its lightweight construction. You can even dry the top around your neck if you decide to cycle through your layers. The merino wool also gives it warmth when you're not on the move. The only thing to bear in mind is that this top seems to come up long on the sleeves in its sizing.

All in all, its a fantastic winter baselayer which is great for expedition use. I highly recommend it.

Bought one - tested it: Great fit, comfortable, wicks well. Great base layer, but will work well a summer top.
So - I've just bought two more

Bought this from Cotswold internet, fast delivery. Very comfortable soft feel and kept me warm and feeling dry up Snowdonia this rainy week.
