The MeCo 250 Long Sleeve Zip Tee is the latest and heaviest addition to the MeCo range.

MeCo baselayers consist of 65% merino wool blended with 35% Cocona Polyester. This version (as the name suggests) uses a 250gsm fabric that offers more warmth than the lighter MeCo fabrics but still offers the same fast drying and anti odour properties.

The MeCo 250 can be worn as a winter weight base layer, but it also works really well as a light midlayer especially for multi day trips when the anti odour and quick drying properties really shine through.

Please note that no further offer or discount applies to this item. This offer is available online, by phone and in selected stores, subject to stock.

The definitive winter baselayer
Reviewed By Calum, 19 Dec 2013

I bought this shirt following the success of 'living' in the lighter Meco 165 version on a 8 day trip in Patagonia in January. Having worn this top camping and walking on a four day extend walk, in November, the Torridon area I can't compliment the makers of this shirt enough! As well as carrying a 15kg pack and living in the shirt the whole time, I managed stay warm despite my exertions. The dreaded 'Smelly Helly Syndrome' was also notably absent much to my friends relief! The 'build quality' is also excellent and soft finish seems to avoid the scratchiness I have found with some pure merino items.10/10 for winter wear.
