The Rab Men's Microlight jacket is an ultra lightweight and packable, narrow baffled, down jacket.

Perfect for moderately cold conditions, and ideally suited to fast and light activities, from Alpine climbing to mountain marathon use, but also great for lightweight backpacking and regular casual use.

The low bulk construction means that this jacket works fantastically as a mid or outer layer. The Pertex Microlight fabric is lightweight, packable and windproof. Narrow baffles stabilise the 750 fill European goose down to offer an excellent ratio of warmth to weight. The down fill is also highly compressible, enabling the whole jacket to fit easily into its own chest pocket

This revised version of the Microlight Jacket has YKK zippers on the handwarmer and chest pockets, in line with feedback from Rab sponsored athletes and customers.

Fantastic All Rounder
Reviewed By Chris, 09 Dec 2013

Bought this jacket a couple of months ago before the weather turned cold in preparation. Have to say one of the best insulated jackets I have ever purchased.
Great for throwing on if you need to make a trip to the shops or for more cold conditions.
The real test came when I spent a weekend in Snowdonia.
Performed very well, worn both days with just a base layer very toasty and no sweating the breathability is superb!
Got slightly damp on the first day but dried in about half an hour in the tent!
I think Rab have outdone themselves with this one recommended to anyone from the professional trekker to the weekend rambler.
