- This very lightweight softshell is a good jacket for wearing over some other thin layers on a chilly spring or autumn day, and you can throw a hardshell waterproof on top.
Having no hood, only a collar, it easily rolls down into a pretty small, light package for stuffing into your rucksack or shoulder bag.
The fabric has a good degree of shower resistance.
I like the medium dark blue colour.
- Other users have complained it is tight on the arms and shoulders and short in the sleeve. I find it long enough in the sleeve to easily cover my wrists but it is shorter than other Rab items I have bought.
Compared to the Sawtooth hoody, the cut of this jacket is tighter so if you size yourself by the hoody, you probably need to pick one size larger for a good fit.
Value for money is very good at the sale price (£69), less good at normal price of £100.
