Well fitting glove exceeded my expectations
Reviewed By Matthew, 18 Mar 2014

I have very long skinny fingers, and getting gloves to fit has always been an issue. However the powerstretch material used here is very nice to wear and fitted perfectly. As a thin pair of gloves I did not expected them to be massively warm so I was shocked to find that when wearing them I had not noticed that they had become saturated with water. They retained their warmth perfectly, a factor which to me is more important than their waterproof ability. They also stopped the chilling factor of the wind very well. These gloves also worked well as a liner inside a much thicker pair for very toasty hands. These gloves are not designed to be really warm gloves, but as a thin liner/outer which is wind resistant they exceeded my expectations.

I managed to pick these gloves up in a sale but even still they are at an incredible price. Would highly recommend!

Poor stitching lets down an otherwise decent glove
Reviewed By Martin, 28 Jan 2014

What can I say, the stitching failed after the first use (walking and night navigation) so they went back to the store for a refund.

I replaced them with Extremities Power Stretch gloves and these have done the same after a couple of walks. It's a shame because PS is warm, wicks well and stays warm when wet. Sounds like the perfect winter liner, if only the stitching held up...
