Lightweight, breathable and designed with a feminine fit for those who are active in the outdoors: introducing the fantastic Rab Women's Spark Jacket.

The Pertex Shield+ fabric chosen by Rab for the Women's Spark Jacket isn't simply waterproof and breathable: it's stretchy! Combined with a high-reaching cut, this makes the Spark ideal for athletic activities in all weathers.

Packing down to a tiny size and adding a mere 240g to your pack, the Spark can easily be carried with you on all your outdoor exploits, but it's much more than just a convenient piece of luggage: it's a well laid out shell jacket for adventure travel, mountain walking or summer climbs in the Alps.

Those of a technical persuasion will appreciate the fully adjustable hood which fits easily over a climbing helmet and the venting chest pockets which are accessible when you're wearing a harness or rucksack; everyone can appreciate the breathable waterproofing and the built in freedom of movement.

That's an awful lot of jacket for such a tiny jacket!

Well designed light weight pack away jacket
Reviewed By Kate, 23 Aug 2013

I bought this jacket primarily for Mountain biking so was looking for a high performing, breathable jacket that could easily be stowed away in my pack without taking too much room. The Rab Spark jacket fills this brief perfectly. I am a size 10 and the jacket sits on my hips comfortably and fits well but might be worth sizing up if your using the jacket in the winter with layers. The back of the jacket scoops down slightly which is perfect for keeping your back dry when on the bike and the fabric has a bit of stretch which is great when moving about or pulling the jacket on in a hurry. The arms have Velcro cuffs so great for tightening around gloves when windy and the hood fits over my helmet or when being used for walking is easily adjusted to fit my head (also loving the wire peak!) I've used the jacket in both drizzle and downpours and so far has kept me bone dry. The colours a lovely bright distinctive bluey purple and looks really smart with the contrasting zips. A really lovely jacket that's well worth the money given that I'll be using it for years to come!

Lovely lightweight waterproof
Reviewed By Charlotte, 23 Jul 2013

I was after a lightweight waterproof for rainy summertime walking, and this fits the bill perfectly. The fabric is very comfortable to wear and so far has proved to provide great protection in rainy weather. Really handy as it packs down to next to nothing.

Worth it
Reviewed By Daisy, 26 May 2013

I was slightly sceptical about paying this amount for a jacket but once I bought I was so glad. It is a lovely shape, and is extremely comfortable as well.
I wear a size 10 and a size 10 or small in this fits as it should, with enough room for any base layers.
Waterproof obviously, which was the main reason I chose it, and it also has a cap in the hood to reduce rain getting in the face.
