- In dry conditions it is reasonably comfortable. They look good for general street wear on dry surfaces.
- Stability issues. My previous Salomon Expert Lows felt very secure and the Contagrip did exactly that: grip. In damp weather I nearly somersaulted losing my footing on a slippy patch of pavement if it weren't for the nearby parked vehicle.
Never had anything like this before. Would not trust this on a trail. Also after autumnal leaf fall pavements will be dangerous.
Feels much higher to ground than Expert Low was. Maybe when Contagrip sole wears down a little it will feel more stable and less slippy. Hope so.
