I've had these for over a year and living in the Eden Valley, Cumbria I am lucky enough to be be able to divide my outdoor adventures between fellwalking in the Northern Pennines, getting off the beaten track in the Lake District and a lot of cycling in between.
I wanted a durable all-rounder outdoor boot that was confortable, dry, warm and tough in all terrains. I only ever buy the best for my size 12 feet and when I saw this boot it not only looked like it meant the business, it ticked all the boxes too, at least on paper. And it has exceeded my high expectations in reality.
These boots not only look great (I got them in Green), they provide my feet with an amazing feeling of protection and support, plus they're supremely lightweight, comfortable (ok although I know that's subjective), warm, heavy duty, rugged, and dare I say, totally waterproof. Yes I've crossed slippery rocky streams in these boots - water up to my ankle, just because I know I can and every time my feet have stayed bone dry and warm. Its almost been a novelty.
Having has so much faith in these boots, I also been started wearing these cycling in the recent wet weather because my every day cycling shoes end up literally filled with water in the wet, and I have to say that, even though I thought that wearing these cycling would be a long shot, I was pretty impressed how well they adjusted to that too, thanks to thier lightweightness and their rigid sole. Amazing!
In fact I love these boots so much, I am just about to buy another pair, not because the first pair has worn out or is broken, but simply because they are just so perfect, and I want to have another pair in a different colour (black), even though I cant really afford it :)
