Light weight and leather, the Salomon Mens X-Over is ideal for light hiking, approaches, or every day comfort and style. Gore-Tex membrane ensures year-round climate comfort.

The Salomon Mens X-Over LTR GTX is a stylish shoe that bridges the gap between light hiking and technical approach. Built on a 3D chassis from running, but with an extended quicklace for precise fit and a more squared-off sole edge with high-abrasion rubber, it is capable of climbing boulders as well. With leather upper and the added protection of Gore-Tex, the X-Over is ready for every adventure, all year long.

..., in addition

Forgot to mention..., the grip is better than I expected and hasn't let me down yet, and I'm not one to take the easy option on terrain, so haven't taken the drier or less slippy route. I haven't managed to put a foot wrong with these shoes yet

Money well spent
Reviewed By Andrew, 11 Jan 2014

After trying various other makers offerings and finding sizing a problem..., bought these to replace a well worn pair of Bear Grylls walkers. Tried to find a similar pair, but was hooked with the 'lace' method on these. Out of the box the comfort and fit was spot on, (have had these 4months now). I'm normally size 11, but went half a size bigger, and if your feet swell slightly as you walk, you won't regret doing the same. I'm finding most shoes a little on the tight side at the toe these days.
