- Stellar build quality. Wide and comfortable at the front region. Rubber is grippy and fairly stiff but not excessively so. Can spend all day in these without pain. I am a UK11 and bought the EU46 for a perfect fit. My toes are nicely snug and curled up but not at all painful. Have tried dozens of pairs and these are the only ones I don't want to take off after an hour. Actually, I can spend all day in them. Absoluteley the best general-purpose shoe for mixed use: Trad, sport, bit of bouldering, crack, it can do it all to a good standard.
- Heel area is really big, wide and loose. It's not at all deal-breaker and doesn't rub but means there are better shoes if extreme bouldering using your heel is your thing. The lovely padding around the ankles does make this shoe heat up and get sweaty sometimes too. No real arch support, it's a flat shoe, but flexible enough in the middle to still point well with. Colours are a bit serious for my liking.
