Great looks, great performance and great comfort. What more could you want from a boot?
On the surface, the Scarpa Women's Baltoro GTX Boot is a simple enough idea: a lightweight fabric and leather boot with a Gore-Tex lining. When you get below the surface though, there's a host of cleverly thought out features to keep you comfortable and well supported on days out in the hills.
Scarpa's ActiveFit Technology combines memory foam Ankle Padding, an elasticated Autofit Collar, and accurate Speed Lacing to wrap the Baltoro GTX around the contours of your foot. While all this stops your foot sliding uncomfortably around, the Heel Tension locking system teams with the FlexPoint ankle, allowing natural flex for easy walking while still providing reassuring support on uneven ground.
Between you and the ground you'll find more innovation: Scarpa's Active Impact Technology uses shock absorbing materials to make each pace comfortable, and a Vibram rubber outsole for maximum grip in all conditions.
However technical the construction, what matters to your feet is simple: light, comfortable, supportive footwear that doesn't let in the weather, and that's what you get from the Scarpa Women's Baltoro GTX Boot.
