The Scarpa Women's Force X adapts the technology of their technical rock shoe range and couples this with luxurious padding to create a shoe with unrivalled levels of comfort balanced with technical performance.

The Force X features a new cushioned heel lining which provides increased levels of comfort especially on longer days; this padding coupled with the easy entry provided by the Velcro straps makes the Force X ideal for long days and long routes where convenience and comfort are a top priority.

V-Tension technology provides the balance between comfort and performance. Adapted from our technical rock shoe range V-Tension connects the Velcro strapping to the toe and heel of the shoe giving a more precise fit and allowing more power in the toe area whilst not compromising on the sensitivity of the shoe.

Well worth the money!
Reviewed By Pamela, 09 Dec 2013

So, I've bought these Scarpa rock shoes about three months ago now. I wanted shoes that were comfortable to wear and these shoes are just right for me. I've been climbing a lot since I bought them and I love them. The price is high but the 15% discount with The Climbing Hanger membership card helps out a lot and the shoes quickly pay their worth after a few weeks of climbing. I do a lot of bouldering and sometimes I'll go to Awesome Walls to do some top rope or lead climbing and these shoes have never let me down.
The extra padding around the ankle and tongue make this shoe sooo comfortable to wear. Yes, they do need a bit of breaking in but that's to be expected with all shoes. After that, these shoes are a dream to wear. Honestly, when I'm climbing, these shoes are just so comfortable but also very tough. I've scraped these shoes against the wall or holds when I’ve fallen and the shoe has taken it all in stride. Even after the all the wear and tear, the shoes still look good. The colouring is lovely and the added scratches and chalk only add to the strength of the shoes.
The straps on the shoes are really easy to use. I can easily determine how tight I want the shoe and it holds very well. The shoes are very flexible and durable, I found that bending the shoes in the beginning helped loosen them so breaking them in would be quick. Now, I can easily walk around in them without them pinching my toes, but they are still fitted so they don’t slip.
I love my shoes to bits and after they finally wear out (which probably won’t be for a good few years) I’ll be buying the exact same pair, they are the perfect shoes for me.
