Product Information

A cotton canvas flysheet, a zipped-in groundsheet (ZIG), a large 4m diameter, a 1.4m high entrance, 2.5m at centre and weighing 21.9kg. The 4000-Hybrid Tent combines some of the luxury and practicality of the SoulPad Ease tents with all of the fun and drama of the SoulPad Lite tents.

The groundsheet zip is protected and concealed by a canvas storm flap that runs its length to ensure zero penetration of water on those really wet trips while the actual groundsheet is made with luxurious, extra thick 540g/m2 canvas cotton which is 100% waterproof, it is 'bath tub' style too, so if you find yourself at a festival camping in a field-turned-lake, you can be confident it's not going to let the water in.

If you're lucky enough to be at a sunny festival and in need of some cool, breezy shade, simply unzip the groundsheet and roll the walls up. Perfect if you need to catch some Zzz's on a hot day. There are four zipped windows and three vents at the top of the bell, all with mosquito mesh fitted.

Great tent, easy to pitch. We use it for Cubs and it is ideal.

I've spent a week in this tent and it has proved just as roomy & practical as I had hoped. Two wet & stormy nights on the Pembrokeshire coast were a particularly good test. In the morning it was still standing & still dry so I was well satisfied.
Pegs are poor & bend if you look at them.

But that's a minor problem. The biggest issue is proper storage which can be a challenge.
Put this away wet & it will rot. But the heavy canvas only dries slowly & you need a lot of space to pitch or hang it somewhere it can dry thoroughly.

Haven't tried erecting this tent in windy conditions but doubt if it would be easy. Also needs flattish space & ground that will hold ALL the pegs. Anywhere sandy or rocky may not work.
