If you are just starting out on your winter climbing adventures, then the Hornets are well worth a look. Simple, reliable, using T-rated construction and a curved shaft to reach round bulges and avoid bashing your knuckles, it's a great tool for beginners to develop their skills.

The Hornet is completed by a sturdy rubber grip and an excellent leash.

I was half expecting the rivets to work loose after a bit of use, but in spite of being at the cheap end of the spectrum and not having a forged head or double rivets on the shaft, it has stood up to the use I have given it. Let's face it, not many people use their winter kit every day.
Small hole in the head is only just big enough for my rucksack's fitting.
