Packable, light, warm and resilient performance with a hydrophobic down fill

The North Face Men's Catalyst Micro Jacket is a Summit Series technical down jacket with packable warmth for ski touring.

The light nylon shell has slim down chambers with deep baffles to retain more warmth. The 800 down filling has a hydrophobic treatment so it stays dry longer than untreated down to maintain its loft and consequently its insulation. The underarm panels are treated with FlashDry, which helps regulate body temperature by accelerating moisture transportation. An alpine climbing fit allows an excellent range of motion without an excess of fabric that could snare winds or pointed rocks and the sleek hood swivels with your head for a natural, unobstructed view.

The handwarmer pockets are carefully placed to allow easy access when you are wearing a backpack or a climbing harness and the chest pocket provides quick access to small essentials.

Like all Summit Series products, the Catalyst Micro Jacket has been athlete tested and expedition proven.

Fantastic light weight jacket
Reviewed By Craig, 30 Dec 2013

Perfect for cold weather walking, super light weight and warm. I have used this over a wet shell jacket and this jacket was perfect. Going away mountain climbing in 2014 and this was a great choice.

Light compact and a great looking jacket
Reviewed By Paul, 25 Dec 2013

I'm going to Moscow in January so wanted a new Jacket to protect me from the sub zero temp. I'm Really happy with my purchase, the jacket looks great and despite being so lightweight is really warm. How it fares at -20 though we'll see!
