Product Information

Trek and travel zip-offs par excellence, bristling with features for life in the outdoors

The Paramount Peak II Convertible Pants just keep going... and going!

A favourite in The North Face range for years now, the Paramounts use a light yet very rugged nylon fabric to withstand the knocks and scrapes of outdoor life. Of course, they have a water repellent finsh, but they're rated to UPF 30+ for sun protection too.

This super-practical fabric is cut into a comfortable pair of trousers, brimming with features, including loads of pockets for your bits and pieces and easily removable legs so they can be worn as shorts.

From Yorkshire hillsides to Andean foothills, if you're after one pair of trousers for everything, this is it.

Sizing. Tried 3pair of 34s. Purchased 32 waist......haven't been able to get into 32s for 40 years. Sizes need checking.

Very comfortable with plenty of room in the pockets. Thick and tough enough to protect legs from nettles and undergrowth but thin enough to still be quick-dry.
I found the medium size too snug especially in the pockets, so boughtlarge, but now have to depend on the belt to keep them from riding down, although this is just a minor complaint.
