Very practical but slightly expensive
Reviewed By Marius, 27 Nov 2013

I tend to go for the lightest gear that I could use in the conditions that are on the limit of 'for ..X.. conditions' of that item. I don't need much comfort so read my review with caution:). I have even used this mat on the snow at -10C with just the bivi bag base underneath it.It wasn't great but I survived the night. So I wouldn't have a problem recommending it to anyone using it in any of the 3 recommended seasons.
If well inflated it can be used on rough surfaces. It doesn't deflate over night. Its size is just right for an average size person and it's wide enough to allow turning on your side and even curling up without your knees touching the ground. Its size is also perfect for bivi bags. It seems to be fairly durable. I have used it on some 15 trips and never had a problem (however I've met people with the same mats with holes in them).
I also often stuff its stuff bag with clothes and use it as a pillow.
I only have 2 problems with it. It is quite expensive. My biggest problem is that it dries very slowly if it gets wet and it get's wet a lot when I travel.
In sum, it does exactly what the description says it does. It's very light and finding space for it in a rucksack is never a problem. I have no problem recommending it to others.

Good sleep, packs small

This is an excellent mat for use when wild camping, hiking and the lot.

Packs really small into the rucksack and realy light as well without sacrificing insulation and comfort

good mat, high price

I found this to be more or less the same as the mountain equipment heluim mat, which was on half price. a great mat, but a little expensive for what it is.

Ultralight weight sleeping at its finest!
Reviewed By Jonathan, 26 Sep 2012

I use this for over night hikes. It weighs in at around 460g and packs down very small (and very easily). It isn't the largest but for weight:comfort ratio it is outstanding.

The non slip grip is a nice touch and it inflates quickly, though I do tend to over inflate it a little manually.

Lack of the puncture repair kit that seems to be included with most mats is something to note but so far it has withstood plenty of abuse with no problems!
