The cost of delivery to the US is $10 and items usually arrive within 4-6 working days. Orders over $800 in value (excluding delivery costs) may be subject to additional tax and import duties levied by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
The standard cost of delivery to the US is $10. Orders which exceed 30kg or 1.5 metres may have a further charge applied, however, we will contact you before despatch should this apply to your order. To ensure that we are able to contact you, please check that your personal details in My Account are up-to-date.
For delivery to the US, please allow 4-6 working days from despatch. If you live in a major city, your parcel should arrive within 4 working days; however some more remote areas may take up to 6 working days to be delivered. We would therefore ask that you wait the full 6 working days before contacting us about your order. The above lead time is an estimate of delivery providing that the items you have ordered are in stock. The UK carrier company, DPD will be responsible for the first leg of your parcel’s journey, from the UK to North America. Your parcel will then be passed onto a local courier and will be delivered directly to your door according to standard delivery procedures.

You will be informed of a parcel tracking number when your order is despatched, and can track the progress of your delivery here*. Very occasionally this tracking number will change once your parcel is passed on to the local courier company, so if you find your tracking number does not work please e-mail our Customer Services team who will confirm the correct tracking number for you.
If you’re not around to take delivery of your parcel, the courier will leave a calling card with information about how to rearrange your delivery or pick your parcel up.
Unfortunately we are unable to deliver gas, knives and axes internationally. Some larger items, such as tents, large rucksacks and luggage cases, may also have restricted delivery.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has recently made changes to legislation relating to the importing of food into the USA and we regret that we are unable to despatch food products at this time.
Although shipments from the UK to the US of <$800 are usually exempt from US import taxes, duties and handling fees, shipments that are over $800 may incur these charges, levied by U.S Customs and Border Protection as parcels enter the country. Should these charges be payable then the consignee (parcel recipient) is responsible for payment and failure to do so may cause a delay in receiving your parcel. Failure to accept these charges may result in Cotswold Outdoor incurring additional expense to return the goods to the UK, and we reserve the right to subtract these monies from any refund due. Cotswold Outdoor has a legal requirement to declare the full value of the goods, excluding shipping, on any parcels destined to leave the EU, and it is a criminal offence to falsify this data in any way.
