Product Information

3 season warmth with square shaping for those who want more freedom of movement, the Vango Stratos 300 Square Sleeping Bag combines modern materials with more traditional design.

For those who want the freedom to move their feet around, or the versatility of being able completely unzip their bag and open it out like a blanket, the Stratos 300 Square offers great value and impressive warmth. To lock out the draughts, Vango have fitted the Stratos with insulated zip and shoulder baffles.

Using light, compressible hollowfibre insulation and breathable ripstop Polair fabric, the Stratos 300 Square makes a great bag for D of E expeditions or for anyone getting into camping, and the L-shaped zip means you can use it as a useful spare duvet at home.

Maidstone Beginner
A great sleeping bag with loads of selling points. Good value for money in my opinion.
I liked the fact that you had room to move your legs/feet, as I as going to purchase the more mummified option. I'm glad I didn't as this was very warm and I liked the space.
The drawstring around the shoulders is a good addition for when it is very cold and I like the internal pocket for valuables.
Very pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend.
A shoulder strap would be useful, and I do wonder how well the stitching on the stuff sack will hold as my sleeping bag already seems to be bursting at the seems!

Square bottom (that's why I bought it)makes moving about easy so therefore it's more comfortable
Perhaps moving about easily broke the zip! Not sure if I will be able to marry-up the teeth correctly, in the middle of the night I couldn't (nor could the wife!)

Gateshead An active grandma
Very useful as a spare duvet in the home but also very good and comfortable as a zipped up sleeping bag.
You have to take extra care with the zip around the corner when opening it up as a duvet.
