Over the last few very hot days my new hat has been very useful.l work outside in full sun and it has kept my head and part of my shouldersites from becoming sunburned. Also wetting the crystals in the internal rim further helps to keep my head cool.Ii
I wish it were a lighter colour

Good, practical, sturdy, wide brim and light fawn colour, with coolant crystals, which slow release, when wetted by water. Good mesh on eyelets, to stop most insects getting in and well made, for a reasonable price and range of fitting sizes.
It would be good if it were impregnated with insect repellent, like the Craghopper Nosilife hats and guaranteed like The more expensive Tilley hats, but good value and replaces a lost White Rock Outback, so pleased with both!
