The Arbor Annex is the latest collaboration undertaken between Arbor and the legendary Bryan Iguchi. Strap yourself in tightly, because this board is a hard charging, stiff and stable board that is designed for the steepest descents for one of the hardest riders in the industry. Arbor has combined carbon vector netting with mixed fiberglass and a high-speed sintered base to create a powerful, stiff and fast snowboard that is incredibly responsive edge-to-edge.
Featuring Arbor's Parabolic Camber profile, the Annex is shaped as a traditional camber board, with a three degree uprise on the four contact points to prevent catching an edge and promote float in powder while maintaining the power, responsiveness and pop of a traditional camber profile. This creates a stable, yet catch-free ride that can be aggressive on-edge without throwing you when you're just cruising.
It doesn't end there, however, with a special sidecut design that features special heel and toe contact points which expand out from edge of the board, providing a more direct contact point with the snow while also reducing heel and toe drag and increasing edge-hold in icier conditions. If you're more of a powder hound, then don't fret; with a 2cm taper in the rear of the board increases float in the nose, so if you find the deep stuff, you can know this board is meant to handle it.
Arbor have a strong sustainability focus with their snowboards, the Annex features recycled ABS sidewalls, recycled steel edges and a topsheet made from a bio-plastic formed derived from castor bean oil, resulting in a durable and water-reppelent surface that is environmentally concious at the same time.
The Arbor Annex is an freeride powder board with attitude. Stiff, responsive, strong edge hold that creates a ride that powerful and confident snowboarders will love. With a bundle of tech combined with an environmentally concious constru
