The Mens Abisko Trekking Tights are technical and durable with a highly functional stretch fabric. They combine the freedom of movement of tights with the durability of a pair of trekking trousers; reinforcements over the rear and knees can handle close contact with sharp stones and rocks and also resist moisture if you sit or kneel on damp ground. All of this makes them perfect for all kinds of trekking in the mountains and other types of rough terrain.
The waist and the upper front are made from a woven stretch fabric, that together with belt loops and a fly give them a trouser–like look.
Practical leg pockets offer practical storage; a large one on the right–hand leg has room for a map and a smaller zipped one on the left–hand leg fits a compass – perfect for when you are heading out into the unknown. In addition, there's a pair of zipped hand pockets and a little loop at the waist lets you attach gear or a light jacket close at hand.
Fjällräven's excellent fit is assured thanks to four–way stretch fabric gives the trouser freedom of movement, and they can sit comfortably under a pair of shell trousers if it starts to rain.
In 1960, Åke Nordin founded Fjӓllrӓven in his basement in the Swedish town of Örnsköldsvik. From its very first innovative framed backpacks and lightweight outdoor jackets, Fjӓllrӓven has stayed true to its original mission of making it easier for more people to enjoy and stay comfortable in the great outdoors.
Passionate about protecting the environment that inspires it, Fjӓllrӓven is always looking for new ways to reduce its environmental impact; from its innovative, PFC-free Eco-Shell fabric to its highly ethical and fully traceable Down-sourcing programme.
