Fjallraven Mens Expedition Down Jacket

Fjällräven's timeless down jacket from 1974

{{ vm.state.webThumbOverlay.code }}

Large, long and warm – the Fjällräven Men's Expedition Down Jacket is a classic from 1974. It was created after a particularly cold night in Abisko when Fjällräven's Åke Nordin decided to make a jacket that was impossible to feel the cold in. Perfect when you want a spacious, durable and long down jacket that will also keep you warm over the rear.

Made from strong nylon and insulated with high-quality down distributed in two layers of offset channels that prevent heat loss. Reinforced with synthetic insulation over the shoulders to resist moisture and so that the jacket will retain its warm loft even with heavy items in pockets.

A large, protective hood with drawcord adjustment around opening. Two-way zip at the front plus a protective flap with buttons – an extra safety feature in cold winter weather in the unlikely event of the zip failing. Two large top-loaded pockets with flaps, and extra openings from the sides are perfect to warm cold hands in.

In 1960, Åke Nordin founded Fjӓllrӓven in his basement in the Swedish town of Örnsköldsvik. From its very first innovative framed backpacks and lightweight outdoor jackets, Fjӓllrӓven has stayed true to its original mission of making it easier for more people to enjoy and stay comfortable in the great outdoors.

Passionate about protecting the environment that inspires it, Fjӓllrӓven is always looking for new ways to reduce its environmental impact; from its innovative, PFC-free Eco-Shell fabric to its highly ethical and fully traceable Down-sourcing programme.
