The Men's Shorts No. 5 are functional shorts for extended outdoor adventures and trekking in difficult terrain. They are cut for a comfortable fit with an extra panel in the crotch for optimal mobility when you are walking and climbing.
The two large leg pockets are large enough for a map and compass, the right one has an inner pocket suitable for a GPS or telephone. There is also a pocket for multitool and hand pockets and back pockets with buttoned flaps. The waist is easily adjusted from the inside.
The shorts are made from wind and water resistant G-1000 Eco fabric with extra-strong G-1000 HeavyDuty along the inseam and at the leg pockets. The fabrics and details were chosen to minimise their impact on the environment and to make it easy to replace exposed sections after years of use.
In 1960, Åke Nordin founded Fjӓllrӓven in his basement in the Swedish town of Örnsköldsvik. From its very first innovative framed backpacks and lightweight outdoor jackets, Fjӓllrӓven has stayed true to its original mission of making it easier for more people to enjoy and stay comfortable in the great outdoors.
Passionate about protecting the environment that inspires it, Fjӓllrӓven is always looking for new ways to reduce its environmental impact; from its innovative, PFC-free Eco-Shell fabric to its highly ethical and fully traceable Down-sourcing programme.
