Fjallraven took inspiration for the Women's Base Sweater No. 3 from their grandfathers' generation. It is a soft and warm top made from Merino wool with smooth terry knitting on the inside. It is perfect as a base layer against your skin since it wicks away moisture and insulates even when wet. In addition, Merino wool is not scratchy and has natural anti-bacterial properties so it does not need to be washed as often. The round neck features buttons to the front and flatlock seams prevent chafing.
In 1960, Åke Nordin founded Fjӓllrӓven in his basement in the Swedish town of Örnsköldsvik. From its very first innovative framed backpacks and lightweight outdoor jackets, Fjӓllrӓven has stayed true to its original mission of making it easier for more people to enjoy and stay comfortable in the great outdoors.
Passionate about protecting the environment that inspires it, Fjӓllrӓven is always looking for new ways to reduce its environmental impact; from its innovative, PFC-free Eco-Shell fabric to its highly ethical and fully traceable Down-sourcing programme.
