A light-weight, universal crampon, the C1 rated G10 is designed to meet the classical demands of general mountaineering. It is perfect for ski touring, trekking, or indeed for women and children (whose smaller boots often don't require as many points underneath them). The crampons are fully adjustable by hand, without tools, and one size fits all. The G10, supplied with Grivel's ingenious Antibott anti-balling plates, folds easily for transportation.
The New Classic is an evolution of the classic binding. Both front and rear plastic harnesses are hinged from their respective retention posts and may be "opened" to facilitate attachment to the boot, then closed securely once the boot is in. The single strap closure system is extremely simple and quick to use, making it ideal for rental programs and first time users, although not having to fiddle with yards of tape and freezing metal is something everyone can enjoy!
This version has a wider toe to accommodate broader boots, such as snowboard and telemark boots.
