General
Patagonia's roots are in Yvon Chouinard's blacksmith shop, where he forged pitons that made Yosemite big wall climbing possible. Inspired by the typography of the Chouinard climbing equipment forge mark, the Forge Mark graphic is integral to Patagonia's history. Pitons proved destructive to rock but for Patagonia, they remind them of who they are and why they're in the business to save our home planet. To that end, this graphic is screen-printed on Patagonia's lowest carbon footprint T-shirt, and made using fully recycled fabrics as well as Fair Trade Certified sewn.
