We are pleased to accept orders by any of the following methods. Online transaction (secure server), e-mail (unsecure), telephone, post, fax or through any of our stores in the UK. Please refer to our latest catalogue payment section for details. All credit / debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and are authorised by the card issuer. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Maestro, Solo and Paypal. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay and / or non-delivery of your order.

No orders will be accepted or processed without a valid card payment in the name of the registered cardholder. General terms and conditions for website users and customers

These terms and conditions will apply to all transactions placed online, by e-mail, telephone or by post with Outdoor and Cycle Concepts Ltd. Please read carefully before placing any order. All contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights.

References to the 'company', 'us' or 'we' will refer to Outdoor and Cycle Concepts Ltd. All references to the customer shall mean the person or persons purchasing or agreeing to purchase goods from the company. All references to the Website shall include reference to all URL's owned Outdoor and Cycle Concepts Ltd.

Delivery

Items ordered will be delivered as soon as possible in accordance with the requested delivery service. Charges for the different delivery services can by obtained from our Customer Service Department and are also listed within the current main catalogue. All delivery charges are subject to change without prior notice.

Every effort is made to ensure that delivery is made within the estimated time scales and a maximum of thirty days. All goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply your goods within thirty days, we will inform you immediately and advise you of the expected delivery date. Outstanding orders / items can be cancelled at any time. In instances where payment has already been made, (Post Orders with a cheque), an alternative or refund in full for the item(s) concerned will be given.

In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, deficient of items shown on the delivery note or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be notified by you to us within seven working days of receipt. If we receive no such notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the company's appointed carrier. Liability in such cases is limited to the value of those items, which are shown to have not been received by the customer.

Delivery windows provided by our courier companies are an estimate only and may change due to issues outside of our control. These could include but are not limited to issues such as inclement weather or traffic delays. If you need a delivery by a specific date, we recommend you use a Named Day delivery service.

BFPO Delivery: Please note that parcels direct from us to BFPO addressses do not qualify for free delivery as per the BFPO's relatives and friends service, therefore BFPO deliveries will be charged at our standard BFPO delivery rates. If you wish to take advantage of the BFPO free delivery scheme for relatives and friends, you will need to take your parcel to the Post Office.

Returns and Exchanges

We want you to be entirely satisfied with every purchase made from us and strive to offer you excellent quality, value and service at all times. If you wish to return an item for exchange or you have decided not to keep it, please complete the details on the reverse side of your delivery note and send it back to us or bring it in to one of our UK stores in a new and unused condition together with the products original packaging and labeling within 30 days. We will exchange or refund the cost of the item(s) where appropriate. All goods must be in a new and unused condition together with a copy of your original receipt.

Please note, we are unfortunately unable to process exchanges on international orders where the order has not been placed in GBP.

If you wish to return any item due to it being faulty, please complete the details on the reverse side of your delivery note giving details of the fault and send it back to us together with the item in its original packaging, where possible, within 30 days. We will exchange the item or refund the full cost including any delivery charges incurred where appropriate once the goods have been assessed by the returns team. If you are in any doubt, please contact our customer service department. We are here to help you. We recommend that all items returned to us be sent recorded delivery with insurance paid as a minimum. Your local Post Office will be able to advise.

Prices

Prices in our UK stores and our webstores in UK, CH, JP, KR, NO, PO & ZA are shown in pound sterling (£) and are inclusive of UK VAT at the current rate unless clearly stated otherwise. All prices are subject to change without prior notice. Prices in our Eurozone webstores are shown in euros (€) and are inclusive of VAT at the local rate for that country. Prices in our Swedish webstore are shown in SEK and are inclusive of Swedish VAT. Prices in our Danish webstore are shown in DKK and are inclusive of Danish VAT. Prices in our Australian webstore are shown in AUD and do not include VAT. Prices in our US webstore are shown in USD and do not include VAT.

If you have purchased or wish to purchase an item from us and find the same item offered for sale at a lower price by any other retailer, we will refund the difference or match that price (including postage and packaging) . This offer is available on current season products in stock at the time of purchase and on products of an identical style, size and colour that are held in stock by other UK retailers. All price matches must be carried out within 7 days and availability and price must be confirmed by the store or call centre. No further affiliate, promotional or media discount applies.

SALE, Offers & Rock Bottom Discounts

SALE, Offers & Rock Bottom discounted items cannot be purchased in conjunction with any other offer or discount. Unfortunately, promotional codes will not work against sale items - the discounts we usually offer to groups or affiliates are not available on sale items, offers or Rock Bottom discount items as these products have already been substantially discounted.

Gift Vouchers, Gift Cards and eVouchers - UK stores and webstores only

Gift Vouchers

Cotswold Outdoor Gift Vouchers can be redeemed for goods in any Cotswold Outdoor store or online at cotswoldoutdoor.com. However, our vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash or gift vouchers or be used as payment on an existing credit agreement.

For purchases in store, where Gift Vouchers used have a greater value than the goods being purchased, no change will be given above £4.99. For online redemption, if the value of the items purchased is lower than the value of the gift vouchers the remaining balance will be lost. Multiple Gift Vouchers may be redeemed in the same transaction up to the value of the goods being purchased.

Gift Vouchers will expire 12 months from the date marked on the Gift Voucher. Gift Vouchers presented after their expiry date will be treated as void and are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

We reserve the right to change any of these terms and conditions from time to time without notice and to take appropriate action including cancellation of Cotswold Outdoor Gift Vouchers, Gift Cards and eVouchers, if, at its discretion, it deems such action necessary. Products

Products are sold singly unless otherwise stated and are not always available through every outlet. Every effort is made to ensure the colours depicted on the site match as closely as possible those of the actual product. Due to technical limitations, some colours may vary.

Special orders

If we do not stock your preferred product, we can try our best to obtain the item direct from the supplier. However, the terms and conditions do change from standard stock and a special order:

  • If ordering in store, they will require a 25% deposit on the product. If ordering through Direct Sales, and if unsuitable you only receive 75% of your costs back via a refund
  • Delivery can take 2-3 weeks
  • You need to be exact on your preference of colour and size. As its not a standard stock item, if purchased through Direct Sales you will only receive 75% of your costs back
  • No discount can be redeemed against a special order
  • The supplier may charge a postal cost for a one off order and small order charge may also be included

Guarantee

All products offered are guaranteed for a period of twelve months unless otherwise stated from the date of the original invoice against failure to provide reasonable wear owing to defective workmanship or materials. The guarantee excludes faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse.

In the event of a warranty claim, please return the item with a copy of the original receipt to either the location the item was purchased from or to our customer service department at:

Please identify clearly the area or part that has failed. All items must be returned in a clean, dry condition, otherwise they may be returned to you without attention. Further advice is available by contacting our Customer Service Department during office hours.

Distance Selling Regulations

You have a right to cancel your order for up to fourteen days following the day after the date of delivery for any item purchased through the catalogue or website under the distance selling regulations for refund. This does not apply to any perishable goods, unsealed software or item personalised or made to your specification.

To cancel any item, you can e-mail, fax or write to us quoting your customer number and order number. You must take reasonable care of the items and retain all original packaging. Returning your items within 7 days of cancellation will result in a prompt refund. Items may be returned to any Cotswold Outdoor store or to our Customer Service department. All goods are returned at your own expense unless the item is deemed faulty or incorrect, where we will refund the cost on receipt of the goods. Should you require your unwanted goods to be collected, we will deduct the appointed couriers direct costs from the refund given.

Providing the goods are received back with their original packaging and all accessories, you will receive a refund within thirty days of your notice to cancel.

Force majeure

We will not be liable for non-performances of our obligations caused or resulting from industrial disputes or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the company such as act of God, riots, civil commotion, flood, fire and legislation. If by reason of such circumstances it shall become impossible within a reasonable time for the company to wholly or partly supply the items ordered then the customer's liability will be limited to the value of the items already supplied together with any associated delivery charges.

Complaints

Any complaint or compliment can be sent to our Customer Service Department. We will endeavour to deal with your complaint within eight business hours of receipt. In the event where we cannot resolve your complaint immediately we will advise a likely time scale to you and keep you informed of any investigation.

Any information displayed on our website(s) or other printed matter by the company is not regarded to be authoritative or certified as the best practice and is only considered to be useful supplementary advice to other certified codes of practice. Pricing and Print Errors

All items supplied to the customer remain the property of Outdoor and Cycle Concepts Ltd until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods has been received in full by us.

Explore More Benefits Scheme Terms & Conditions

The Explore More Benefits Scheme is operated by Outdoor and Cycle Concepts Ltd., Unit 11 Kemble Business Park, Crudwell, Malmesbury, Wiltshire SN16 9SH ("we", "us" or "our").

This page (together with our General Terms and Conditions, Community Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy) sets out the terms and conditions of the Explore More benefits scheme ("the scheme"). Where there is any inconsistency with our other terms and conditions, the terms and conditions set out below prevail.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the membership card which we provide you under the scheme ("your membership card"). By registering with the scheme or using your membership card, you indicate that you accept these terms and conditions.

Registration to Explore More Benefits Scheme

Any individual who is aged 16 years or over and is a resident of Great Britain is eligible to become a member of the scheme. Our employees and any relatives of such employees are eligible to become members of the scheme, subject to the restrictions in these terms and conditions.

You can apply to become a member of the scheme by registering in any participating Cotswold Outdoor store or by calling the Explore More helpline 01666 575 500 (Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17.30). If you apply by telephone, you may be asked to register security details on your membership record to help us protect you against fraud. We reserve the right to refuse any application for membership.

Explore More membership card

As a member of the scheme you will receive a membership card which will remain our property. Your membership card is evidence of your membership of the scheme and you may be required to present this in certain circumstances.

A membership card is not a cheque guarantee, credit or debit card, and cannot be exchanged for any monetary value. Your membership card may only be used by you and for your benefit. You may not transfer any rights or duties of your membership. We reserve the right to withdraw any individual membership card at any time.

You can use your membership card at participating Cotswold Outdoor, Cycle Surgery, Runners Need and Snow+Rock stores, on the cotswoldoutdoor.com website or via phone or mail order. You cannot redeem any benefits of the scheme at any store which does not participate in the scheme, including (but not limited to) Rock Bottom Outlets, Harrods or Selfridges. We reserve the right to enrol, withdraw or amend the participation of any store in the scheme at any time.

Changes to Explore More Benefit Scheme

If your contact details change, please contact us on 01666 575 500 (Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17.30) or by email to exploremore@cotswoldoutdoor.com and we will update these for you. You may be asked to register or confirm existing security details.

We reserve the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time and we will notify you of such changes by using the contact details you have provided to us or by posting a notification on our website. You will be subject to the terms and conditions in force at the time that you make use of a benefit under the scheme. We reserve the right to withdraw this scheme at any time in accordance with these terms and conditions.

Two Year Guarantee

All products sold are covered by a manufacturers guarantee. These are normally twelve months unless otherwise stated from the date of the original sales invoice.

In addition to the first twelve months manufacturers guarantee for all purchases recorded against your Explore More membership we provide a further twelve months guarantee on all new products purchased from 1st September 2013 from Cotswold Outdoor; or purchased from 28th October 2015 from Snow+Rock, Cycle Surgery and Runners Need at no extra cost.

This guarantee covers items against failure to provide reasonable wear owing to defective workmanship or materials from reasonable wear.

If your item does develop a fault, we will arrange for it to be repaired or replaced, at our discretion, free of charge. If the item is replaced, and an exact replacement is not available, we will do so with one of equivalent specification.

The guarantee excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, including improper care, treatment or exposure to conditions deemed beyond normal conditions, misuse or where the product is deemed to have come to the end of its life through reasonable wear and tear. Any liability is limited to the item only and excludes any consequential loss.

Terms of Explore More member benefits

Monthly Prize Draw:

Until further notice, members will have the opportunity to be entered into a prize draw to win Cotswold Outdoor, Cycle Surgery, Runners Need or Snow+Rock gift vouchers.

(a) Entry for residents of Great Britain

As a resident of Great Britain (England, Scotland or Wales), each time you supply your membership card number when purchasing goods in a participating Cotswold Outdoor, Cycle Surgery, Runners Need or Snow+Rock stores in Great Britain, on the cotswoldoutdoor.com website or via phone or mail order, you will be automatically entered into the "Monthly Prize Draw".

If a member is resident in Great Britain but visits a Cotswold Outdoor store in Northern Ireland, he or she may obtain a free entry into the draw for that month by presenting their membership card at the counter and asking to be entered into the "Monthly Prize Draw".

(b) Entry for residents of Northern Ireland

For residents of Northern Ireland, no purchase is necessary. You may enter a free prize draw by presenting your membership card in a participating Cotswold Outdoor store and asking to be entered into the "Monthly Prize Draw", by sending your name, address and membership number on a postcard to the postal address set out below.

 

For residents of Northern Ireland only six entries are permitted each month. Each postal entry must be sent under separate postage and received by the closing date for the promotion in question, which will be the last day of the calendar month. If they are postmarked in one month but received the following month they will be entered into the draw for that following month for as long as such promotions continue to be held.

(c) Terms applicable to all entries

A member cannot make an entry on behalf of another person. No responsibility will be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed, mislaid or damaged in the post. Proof of posting will not be regarded as proof of delivery. Any entry which is illegible, contains false, incomplete or misleading information or is otherwise not in accordance with these terms and conditions will be ineligible for entry into the draw. No purchase is necessary. All prizes must be claimed within 3 months of notification of winning the prize.

All entries from residents of Great Britain and Northern Ireland go into the "hat" for each draw. Each prize draw is open until the end of that calendar month. Within 5 days of the closing date of each prize draw, we will randomly select a winner entry from all of the eligible entries during that calendar month. We will notify the winner by post within 10 days of the closing date of that prize draw.

(d) Notification of winner

We will present the winner with Cotswold Outdoor gift vouchers to the value of £100. All prizes will be provided to winners, within 30 days of the closing date of the prize draw by post or, where the winner agrees, having been offered this at our discretion, in person at a Cotswold Outdoor store. Normal Cotswold Outdoor gift voucher terms and conditions apply. Gift vouchers may be redeemed in any Cotswold Outdoor, Cycle Surgery, Runners Need or Snow+Rock store.

By entering a prize draw, you grant us permission to use your name and likeness for the purpose of announcing the winner of the prize draw and for any print, point of sale or other marketing materials relating to this prize draw. Entrants must retain all transaction receipts as proof may be required when claiming prizes.

If you are a winner, you may have to provide additional information (including, without limitation, proof of age, transaction or identity) and complete additional documents and return them to us within a specified period. If you fail to satisfactorily provide such information or complete such documents within the required time period, or if notification is returned as undeliverable, you may be disqualified as a winner and an alternative winner may be selected.

(e) Administration of prize draw

The Company is the promoter of this prize draw and all postal entries should be sent to: Explore More Prize Draw, Outdoor and Cycle Concepts Ltd., Unit 11 Kemble Business Park, Crudwell, Malmesbury, Wiltshire, SN16 9SH. No employee of the Company or a relative of an employee of the Company is eligible to enter this prize draw.

We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant and/or winner in our sole discretion if there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or of the spirit of this prize draw. The Company's decision is final in all matters relating to this prize draw and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into. We will send to anyone on request the names of the winners in the 3 months immediately preceding any such request. Any request should be sent to the postal or email address set out in these terms and conditions and, if postal, should be accompanied by a self-addressed envelope. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Company reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions prior to any closing date.

Offers and other additional benefits

From time to time we may provide you with additional offers and discounts which may be redeemed in participating Cotswold Outdoor, Cycle Surgery, Runners Need and Snow+Rock stores, on the cotswoldoutdoor.com website or via phone or mail order and with selected third parties. Such additional offers and discounts are subject to any additional terms and conditions that we notify to you from time to time.

Leo Houlding Tour – Prize Draw

Prior to your participation in our prize draw, please ensure you have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions.

  • Only one entry to this prize draw is permitted per person.
  • The prize draw closes at 11:00pm on the 6th December 2016.
  • The three winners will be the drawn at random.
  • First prize will receive a £200 gift voucher, second prize will receive a £100 gift voucher and third prize will receive a £50 gift voucher to spend at any Cotswold Outdoor store or at cotswoldoutdoor.com.
  • The winners will be notified in the first instance by the 19th December 2016, by using the email or other contact details provided in the prize draw entry form.
  • In the event of non-acceptance, no answer or failure to accept within 60 days of being contacted, we reserve the right redraw.
  • By opting in to receive news and updates from Cotswold Outdoor, you confirm that you’re happy for us to contact you using the details provided. We will never share your details with anyone else. Entrants that have chosen not to opt in to receiving news and updates can be reassured that their personal information will only be used for the purpose of the prize draw and will only be contacted should they win the competition. We partner with AKKROO only to facilitate the collection of data and to send a confirmation email. AKKROO do not retain or have access to this data for any other purpose.
  • The prize is as provided and may not be exchanged for cash or alternative.
  • An individual cannot make an entry on behalf of another person. In the event that an entry is disqualified due to the provided details being incorrect, incomplete, a duplicate, or not being those of the participant, the prize will be withdrawn. Once an entry has been judged or notified as being ineligible, requests to change the details of the applicant will not be accepted.
  • We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant and/or winner in our sole discretion if there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or of the spirit of this prize draw. The Company's decision is final in all matters relating to this prize draw and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

OFFICIAL RULES: #GORETEX40 #COTSWOLD OUTDOOR COMPETITION

The OCTOBER - JANUARY #GORETEX40 Challenge is sponsored by W. L. Gore & Associates (hereinafter referred to as the “Promoter”) will be governed by these rules (the “Official Rules” for short)

No Purchase Necessary To Play or Win. Purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

  • ELIGIBILITY to participate, you must be aged 18 years or older at the time of entry. Your participation constitutes your full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. No purchase necessary to participate or win. Promotion is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of Sponsor, their immediate family members (parent, child, spouse, sibling) and persons living in the same household as such individuals (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate or win. The competition is open to applicants in Europe only.
  • PROMOTION PERIOD/HOW TO ENTER: To participate you need to have or open an Instagram account, or a Twitter account, or a Facebook account. To enter, share your #GORETEX40 experience on Instagram or Twitter using the #GORETEX40 hashtag. Or, share your #GORETEX40 experience on our GORE-TEX® Products Europe Facebook wall or post under a competition post. Photo or video entries will be accepted. Valid entries must use the #GORETEX40 hashtag.
  • Promotion period begins Monday 3rd October and ends at 11.59pm on Tuesday 3rd Jan 2017. Winners will be selected by a panel of GORE-TEX® judges based on the creativity and inspiring nature of their entry. This decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. ONE (1) winner will be announced every week, with the prize being one pair of GORE-TEX® gloves. ONE (1) overall winner will be announced in January 2017.
  • PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES: Every Monday from competition launch, ONE (1) Winner will receive one pair of GORE-TEX® gloves to the value of up to £134.99. ONE winner will receive a full GORE-TEX® outfit worth approximately £1,000. This prize will be announced on January 9th.
  • Prizes may not be transferred or substituted except by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any listed prize for one of equal value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason. Odds of winning based on number of participants. Winners will be notified via the platform of their winning entry and will be required to provide email address on or around Tuesday, Jan 10th, 2017.
  • CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: By accepting prize, Winner agrees to hold Sponsor, its directors, officers, employees and assigns harmless for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participating in this Promotion. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Sponsor reserves the right to alter the promotion period and/or prizes without prior notice. All entrants agree that Sponsor may, without permission or additional compensation, publish Winner’s name. All entrants must have a valid e-mail address at time of entry. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for computer system, hardware, software or program malfunction or other errors, failures, delayed computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an electronic entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the “Authorized Holder” in whose name the e-mail account is registered, provided that person meets all eligibility criteria set forth in the Eligibility section of these Official Rules. “Authorized Holder” shall mean the natural person assigned to an email address by an Internet Access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
  • After receiving a winning notification, Participants must confirm their contact details via email within 7 days of being contacted by Promoter to arrange delivery of their prize. If the winner fails to contact the Promoter within the seven days after notification, the winner shall forfeit the Prize. In this event, Promoter shall select another winner from the remaining eligible entries or dispose of the Prize in any way it deems fit.
  • Participant agrees that Sponsor shall be granted the right of use of the images, videos and statements posted by Participant in conjunction with the competition unrestricted in terms of time, place and purpose in miscellaneous media, such as print media, film, and electronic media including the internet and social media. The right of use includes but is not limited to the right to edit, modify or otherwise transform the images, videos and statements, to reproduce, publish and distribute the Materials in the original or in modified, edited or transformed form. This shall not require consent from Participant.
