Helly Tech® is a waterproof, breathable membrane technology applied in 2, 2.5, or 3-layer constructions. It combines DWR-treated fabrics with PU membranes and seam sealing to provide optimal weather protection and ventilation.

A proprietary base layer technology from Helly Hansen, LIFA® fibres provide exceptional moisture-wicking and insulation to keep skin dry and temperature regulated, especially effective in baselayers.

Helly Hansen incorporates Primaloft® synthetic insulation and their own LIFALOFT™ insulation, combining moisture-wicking LIFA® fibres with Primaloft® for lightweight warmth even in wet conditions.

Yes, Helly Hansen uses bluesign®-certified materials, and many products are PFC- and PFAS-free, reducing harmful chemical use. Their LIFA INFINITY™ membranes offer waterproofing without chemical DWR treatments.

H²FLOW™ enhances insulation products by using air pockets to trap heat and offering optimised ventilation via vents, allowing users to regulate warmth and cooling during activities.

Breathability is achieved by advanced membranes in Helly Tech® and LIFA® fibres which manage moisture transport via microporous and hydrophilic properties, allowing sweat vapor to escape but blocking rain.
