The rest of the range, styles like the Retro Pile Marsupial, Classic Retro-X, Better Sweater, and Synchilla, are built for everyday wear and standalone warmth rather than active layering.

Patagonia R1 and R1 Air use a lighter, more breathable weave for moving heat and moisture away from you under load. The Patagonia Retro Pile and Synchilla fleeces use a denser pile that holds more warmth standing still, better off the trail than halfway up a climb. Most of the range uses recycled polyester, and some styles are Fair Trade Certified sewn.
