Helping young people to tackle new adventures outdoors is a shared value of O&CC and Leadership Challenges. We’re delighted to donate products that enable this life-changing work.
Mission
Leadership Challenges are honest and passionate about people development. They believe everyone can be a leader, everyone can make a difference, and everyone can leave a legacy.

Who they work with:
The Young Leaders Programme delivers leadership and personal development for young adult groups and youth foundations, helping participants discover focus, build confidence and overcome obstacles.
How do they do this:
Leadership Challenges is working with Bath Rugby Foundation on an exciting new mentoring programme for young people, culminating in a 2-week cycling challenge in the Andes mountains in Chile.

The 36-week course which started in Spring 2019, nurtures the development of leadership abilities in a group of young people, by empowering them to improve the quality of their lives and assist with their full integration into wider society.
The Young Leaders Mentor Programme, which is part of our overall Leadership Programme, is designed to offer support through teaching additional life skills and individual mentoring activity, to build confidence and raise aspirations of the young leaders involved through interactive, informative and fun sessions.
The Young Leaders Mentor Programme is simple in concept, yet ambitious and achievable, with a huge pro-social impact on society. The programme will push the limits of the mentees; through dedicated mentors, guiding those involved, creating a model for many more young people to get involved in a wider, future, national roll-out.
How does O&CC help?
Donations to date
O&CC has donated insulated jackets, footwear, trousers, sunscreen and cycle kit: 2.5 pallets so far.
First donation – mixed pallet including insulated jackets, mixed footwear, trousers, sunscreen and much more.
Second donation – 1 pallet trainers, ½ pallet cycle kit.
