The Bridgedale StormSock Lightweight Ankle Socks are designed to keep your feet dry and comfortable when running or walking in wet conditions. Their lightweight, low-profile construction sits just above the ankle, making them an excellent choice for trail running, fast hiking, and warm-weather adventures where waterproof protection is essential without added bulk. Built with a three-layer construction, the StormSock combines comfort, waterproof performance, and durability. The inner lining is primarily made from Merino wool, naturally wicking moisture away from the skin while offering excellent temperature regulation, odour resistance, and antibacterial properties to keep your feet feeling fresh throughout the day.

A waterproof, breathable Hydrotech membrane forms the middle layer, preventing water from getting in while allowing moisture vapour to escape. Thanks to Bridgedale's advanced matrix lamination process and stretch PU membrane, the sock delivers outstanding flexibility and long-lasting performance without compromising comfort. The durable nylon outer layer protects the waterproof membrane from abrasion, extending the life of the sock even during regular use on rough trails. Lycra is knitted throughout to provide Bridgedale's signature Performance Fit, while an elasticated arch support and flat toe seam help prevent movement, bunching, and pressure points for lasting comfort.

The lightweight ankle-height design promotes airflow and helps prevent excess heat build-up around the lower leg, making these socks ideal for damp trails, stream crossings, and wet ground during milder weather. For prolonged heavy rain or deeper water, Bridgedale's longer boot or knee-length StormSock styles provide additional protection against water entering from the top.
