Aramid Cord Sling - 6mm x 60cm

These lightweight sewn Aramid slings are made from 6 mm aramid cord, offering a significantly higher breaking strength than traditional nylon and far greater durability than flat Dyneema slings, which are more prone to furring over time. They’re also much easier to untie after being loaded, a real bonus if you often shorten slings for belays or use them during abseils.

The longer lengths are impressively stiff, holding their shape when bent into a U, which makes them perfect for threading placements. Bend both ends of the 60 cm sling and it will even stand upright, opening up creative options for hard-to-reach placements. Paired with a lightweight wiregate and a rubber band, it can even double as a short cheat stick in a pinch. Versatile, tough, and thoughtfully designed, these slings are a smart addition to any trad climber’s rack.
